Microbiology and Nature in Video Games

Amanita Design is a company that draws from nature in its game design. Here is a news article from The Guardian that goes in depth on their game design features and how microbiology, insects, and mythology are incorporated into the games. Games like this are great for getting people to think about nature and how organisms are connected, even just from the imagery. As a kid growing up in an urban area, these kinds of images were part of what inspired me to love nature and think about connections between organisms within an environment. Anyways, here is a cool snapshot from the game that is also included in the news article from The Guardian:
