I am fascinated by citizen science projects like this: The Bioweathermap Sees The Germs Around Us – Bruce Upbin – Tradigital – Forbes. Years ago it was all the rage to track where your money had been using systems like “Where’s George“. Well, movement is not all that happens to money. Money picks up all sorts of microbes when it travels from hand to hand and goes in and out of other locations. Well, the Bioweathermap project is trying to link the two in a way – by surveying the microbes found on paper money. I note – I have contributed a dollar bill a while ago and am anxiously awaiting the results.
