This release has some accurate points such as that people with compromised immune systems need to worry about pathogens in the world around the. And that people with compromised systems can be harmed by breathing in Aspergillus spores. And a few other things. But then they try to scare people or health care professionals with the line “It’s important that healthcare facilities not have elevated levels of Aspergillus spores in the air.” Sure, this is true, but how big of a problem is this really? And then, of course, they offer their services to help identify nasty microbes in buildings. Certainly, pathogens in buildings can be a bad thing. But this seems to be mostly about making people afraid rather than getting them to really think about how to protect people …
