“The University of Kansas seeks a tenure-track assistant professor in Microbial Environmental Metagenomics and Bioinformatics. This position is a full-time, academic year appointment. The faculty member will conduct research in microbial environmental genomics, metagenomics and bioinformatics leading to publication in appropriate media; procure external funding as appropriate; participate in the teaching mission of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology; and engage in unit, College, University, and national service. Ph.D., ABD, or terminal degree is expected by the start date of appointment. The successful candidate for the position must be eligible to work in the U.S. prior to the start of the position.
