Well, I am in DC for #MoBE17 and was secretly hoping to get in a Washington Nationals playoff game on Thursday.

And in some sort of weird coincidence, the Nationals are now blaming team wide illnesses on – you got it – a microbiology of the Built Environment problem. See this ESPN story: Nats: Roark over ill Strasburg for ppd. Game 4
In the story, Eddie Matz writes
“A lot of my team is under the weather with the change of weather, and the air conditioning in the hotel, and the air conditioning here,” he said. “It’s just this time of the year for mold around Chicago — I think it’s mold. I mean, I have it, too.”
Maybe the Nationals need to hire some sort of microbiologist to travel with the team. I know of at least one microbiologist who would like to do that.
