Legionnaires’ Disease Cases Traced To Hot Tub At A Fair in North Carolina

Well, I generally am not overly germaphobic but I also avoid public hot tubs like, well, a disease caused by Yersinia pestis. Thus this story seemed confirmatory for me.  However, upon closer examination is seems like the hot tub connection here may simply be cases where people walked by the hot tub display at this fair.  It does not seem like anyone actually got in the hot tub (though I am not sure about this).

“This is the largest outbreak that we have documented” of the disease, the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services says.
